Weapon & Skill Review:
Before R
  • Gatling Smash is a 2-hit melee attack. For Heavyarms, it's the least useful weapon since its reach is short and not that powerful. When an enemy approaches you, just dash or jump away from them while shooting at it with Double Gatling Guns
  • Double Gatling Guns is your main weapon in the game. Its range and damage is good and reloads quick enough to use it right after depleting other weapons.
  • Use Chest Gatling Guns after using Double Gatling Guns for massive damage. Only problem with this weapon is that you become immobile while firing so you may get hit easily from enemies.
After R
  • In After-R mode, Heavyarms becomes incredibly slow. It's a little better than Wing Zero (EW)'s sniper mode's movement, but it will be just better to stand still and fire all your weapons before changing mode.
  • The defense feels a little stronger in this mode since you can't avoid getting hits from enemies.
  • Full Gatling Burst is like the faster and stronger version of Double Gatling Guns. It's strong enough that units with Phase-Shift Armor skill cannot ignore. Since its reload is magazine-type, use it all up to continuously swap between Before-R mode's Gatling Guns.
  • Homing Missiles is useful when you fire behind buildings or large objects. Since it's fired from the front side of the unit, Heavyarms has to expose itself when firing so that missiles don't get blocked by a building. This is a bit troublesome if you are used to units like Full Armor ZZ Gundam or GP-02 Physalis (Type MLRS) that shoots from the top side of a unit that lets you safely fire missiles without exposing itself to the enemy team. However, Heavyarms' ammo is 2 so this can be a strong point for Heavyarm's Homing Missiles.
Skills
  • When Fortress skill is active, Heavyarms Kai (EW) truly feels like a fortress. Although the skill was nerfed compared to its past glory, it is still an excellent skill for Heavyarms to continuously attack enemy units while withstanding their attacks. (but this doesn't mean you don't have to dodge! Heavyarms can still melt easily if you are careless)
  • Pierrot's Tear increases weapon reload rates and the chance of critical hits. This is a perfect skill for units like Heavyarms since all it does is rapidly firing Gatling Guns and Missiles throughout the match.

Playing - Advantage:
  • A tanker with powerful ballistic weapons
  • Fast reload and attack speed. This is why Heavyarms is perfect for Hard- and Expert-level missions because it can clear minions and bosses quickly (but it is not recommended in some missions where boss units have "Phase-Shift Armor" skill that decreases the effectiveness of Heavyarms' weapons.
  • Gatling Guns help charge up SP gauge quickly so you can get skills activated quickly or be able to use SP attack.

Playing Disadvantage:
  • The unit is a little slow and becomes almost immobile in After-R mode. So you may get hits too often if you are not careful.
  • All of Heavyarms Kai (EW)'s  weapons are ballistic type. So again, units with Phase-Shift Armor like Freedom Gundam can withstand Heavyarms' firepower as it is the best skill against ballistic-type weapons. (on the other hand, Heavyarms is best at fighting with units with anti-beam skills like I-Field) Pierrot's Tear skill's increased critical chance can boost Heavyarms' performance against Phase-Shift Armor units, but it is a better option to attack different enemies instead to win a game.
Etc.
- Possibly the most useful and popular unit for Hard- and Expert level missions.
- Personally recommend it to anyone playing SDGO to at least own one for both mission quests and PvPs.

How to get it:
1. Shop - Cash
