Weapon & Skill Review:
Before R
- Average beam saber but only use it to counter an approaching enemy
- Decent beam rifle - your main weapon
- Plamsa Beam Canoon is equivalent to Wing Zero's third weapon - 3 shots & no-knockdown long-range beams. Like Wing Zero, you can harass enemies from safe distance and switch to the beam rifle when they approach closer. It has better reload speed than Wing Zero's when Defense Commander skill is active.
- As always, use the melee-SP to counter melee-type unit or to ensure a kill
- It's the same long-range beam like Before-R's third weapon, but this one has Knockdown effect. You can use it as a final long-range shot after using up 3 shots of Before-R's Plasma Beam Cannon or use to knock down a melee unit that's chasing you.
- Be aware that beam-SP may miss the enemy unit if it's too close to you
- Saviour's overall reload speed is fairly slow. This problem is somewhat solved when Defense Commander becomes active.
- Defense Commander boosts all teammates' defense and reload rate so once it's active, Saviour should stay alive as long as possible.
- Phase-Shift Armor greatly improves Saviour's defense against ballistic weapons like Wing Zero's machine cannon, but it becomes useless when enemy units' main weapons are beam-type weapons.
Playing - Advantage:
- Great in mid- and long-range fights with Beam Rifle and Plasma Beam Cannon
- Decent movement with After-R mode to move around to avoid approaching melee-type enemies and attack with Plasma Beam Cannon
- Team buff with Defense Commander
- When Phase-Shift Armor is active, Saviour can withstand ballistic-type weapons like homing missiles during fights.
- Strong against ballistic-type weapons but not against beam-types
- Unlike units like Wing Zero that have both ballistic and beam-type weapons, Saviour only has beams so it's pretty weak against units with anti-beam defense skills
- Because it heavily relies on Plasma Beam Cannon, Saviour is weak when the team is pushed back or hold down enemy team's melee units for Saviour.
How to get it:
1. Capsule 40 - pretty difficult to roll it since it's AR-rank. Personally recommend to roll the capsule if you are trying to roll for V Gundam to use in various blueprints
